In addition to her instructional work, Ajee has a strong history of mentorship and advocacy, having served as a mentor within a program supporting battered women, where she helped women rebuild stability, confidence, and career direction. This work reflects her trauma-informed, mission-driven approach to education and leadership.

Ajee has worked across major healthcare systems and organizations, including Yale New Haven Health, Hartford HealthCare, Norwalk Hospital, and Quest Diagnostics, gaining broad experience in hospital-based care, diagnostics, interdisciplinary teams, and clinical operations. These roles provided her with deep exposure to high-acuity environments and modern healthcare workflows.

She has also served as a Practice Manager for a busy medical practice, overseeing daily operations, staff coordination, scheduling, compliance, and patient care systems. In addition to healthcare leadership, Ajee brings a background in real estate, further strengthening her expertise in business operations, client relations, and professional accountability.

Ajee is a graduate of nursing school (Class of 2016) and expanded her clinical expertise through work as a travel healthcare professional in Florida, where she gained experience across diverse healthcare settings and patient populations.

She is also the author of God Hears Our Tears, a faith-based work centered on resilience, healing, and perseverance. Ajee is a single mother of two daughters, a role that deeply informs her passion for education, stability, and creating opportunity for women and families.

With a rare blend of clinical practice, education, advocacy, business insight, and executive leadership, Ajee brings credibility, mentorship, and vision to every program she leads. Her mission is to equip students with the skills, confidence, and professional readiness needed not only to enter the workforce—but to remain stable and successful within it.
